What Do Seniors Do on Kauai?

Young and old, there is plenty for everyone to do in Kauai. Here are some favorite activities among seniors:

Take a Na Pali Coast boat tour (this is something for everyone but must be done during the summer months)

Visit the Allerton Garden in Poipu.  This is a national botanical garden across from the Spouting Horn. Learn more at http://ntbg.org/gardens/allerton.php

Visit the Limahuli Gardens.  This is another national botanical garden that is located on the North shore and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Learn more at http://ntbg.org/gardens/limahuli.php .

Visit Maha’ulepu Beach.  I am not suggesting a swim here, as the waters can be rough, but it is a wonderful spot for a gentle hike along the coast and a great spot to watch the windsurfers. You can start your hike at the Grand Hyatt and walk along the shore as far as you’d like and then come back.
